Chosen Generation for Tuesday Dr Gregory Reid, Human Trafficking, Occult Activity

Joining me for the first half of todays show will be Dr Greg Reid, Youth Fire Ministries. Human Trafficking generates $9.5 billion dollars a year. Approximately 300,000 children are at risk of being prostituted in the United States according to the latest DOJ statistics. The average age of entry into prostitution for a child victim in the United States is 13 to 14 years old and they will be expected to have sex 20 to 48 times per day. Their pimp will make $150,000 to $200,000 per girl and the pimp generally has 5 or 6 girls. Houston and El Paso have been is listed as two of the top twenty Human Trafficking districts in the Unites States. Dr Greg helps law enforcement to identify victims and how to help them. There is both a physical aspect and a spiritual aspect and Dr Greg will share these with us.

Gregory Reid is the founder of YouthFire Ministries. Since 1975 he has been involved in youth outreach both in the US and around the world, including Europe, Canada and Indonesia. He has been extensively involved in youth intervention, especially at-risk kids who are involved in the occult or have suffered sexual abuse. Dr. Reid has trained over 250 criminal justice classes on occult related crimes and crimes against children since 1987, and has spoken nationwide to churches on spiritual warfare, occultism and internet issues, and has preached and carried out youth evangelism meetings since 1976.

In recent years, Dr. Reid has been focused on educational workshops on human trafficking and sexual abuse issues for churches, as well as spiritual warfare training, dealing with both demonic deliverance as well as breaking the chains of deception in the Western church.

Dr. Reid has written eleven books, including Trojan Church, A Cry in the Wilderness, Treasure from the Master’s Heart, Nehemiah: Rebuilding the Ruins, The Color of Pain: Sexual Abuse of Boys, and his autobiography Nobody’s Angel, which can be ordered through Amazon and other outlets. In addition he has written Diary of a Devil Hunter, Silence and the Distance Between Us – A Journey of Grief, and Stray Cats and Other Stories, which can be ordered directly through YouthFire Ministries. He publishes a monthly newsletter on current issues entitled, Things As They Are.

Dr. Reid is an ordained minister with American Evangelistic Association and has an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Logos Graduate School. He is currently working on a book on spiritual warfare, and is serving as youth pastor at CrossPoint Church in El Paso, Texas.
