It is Friday and on the show today we begin with our puling back the curtain segment. I will be joined by Don Jans, author of the book, My Grandchildren’s America. In the most recent New Yorker there is an article entitled “Going the Distance”. It is an eight pager about Obama and his ambitions. One of the lines says, “The second Inaugural Address was the most liberal since the nineteen-sixties.Obama pledged to take ambitious action on climate change, immigration, gun control, voting rights, infrastructure, tax reform. He warned of a nation at “perpetual war.” He celebrated the Seneca Falls Convention, the Selma-to-Montgomery marches, and the Stonewall riots as events in a narrative of righteous struggle. He pledged “collective action” on economic fairness, and declared that the legacy of Medicare, Social Security, and Medicaid does “not make us a nation of takers; they free us to take the risks that make this country great.” Pfeiffer said, “His point was that Congress won’t set the limits of what I will do. I won’t trim my vision. And, even if I can’t get it done, I will set the stage so it does get done” in the years ahead.” Just in this paragraph alone are the signs of a man who sees himself not as President to serve the people, but as a dictator who assumes he will bend the will of the people. To compare Stonewall to Selma or to Seneca Falls which began to change the dynamics of family, is an insult to what was truly good and righteous in those two events. Stonewall was nothing but a homosexual sexual revolution, which Ed Koch, not the most conservative of individuals, had to put down an uprising that threatened the safety of children and families. This event where men did what is now considered normal at a Gay Pride parade, had sex with each other and ran around naked in the streets. They used drugs and raped young men in the restrooms of the subway in New York. They attempted to take over a neighborhood with their debauchery. This is the kind of perverted thinking that drives the man in the White House. Removing voter ID, a logical protection from having our elections turn into a chaotic event where graft and even foreign votes can destroy our constitutional republic. Where gangs and thugs determine who votes and how many times. The non existent climate control argument supported by global warming a code word for Agenda 21 and sustainable growth. Destroying the Second Amendment and its protections that keep a tyrannical government in check. The list goes on and on. Don and I will discuss pulling back the curtain and how this article belies the real truth behind the insidiousness of the State of the Union we were just subjected to. Comrade Obama is on the move and we will show you what he did not say, so tune in.
On the second half of the program I will be joined by Jennifer LeClaire, News Editor for Charisma Magazine. Ephesians 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, 11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
This verse says that the wisdom of God will be revealed through the church. Last week we talked about the wounded condition of so many people because of the church. But, is it because the church speaks truth or is it because the church is not truly living up to her full potential? Being hurt by the church when she speaks of the things that are righteous and true versus when we are injured by believers not acting like the church is not the same thing. Placing our trust in men and not in God and expecting men to fulfill the role that only God can fulfill in our lives is often what leads to being hurt in the church. How can Pastors do a better job of handing off their members to God rather than perhaps feeling that they need to resolve all of their members issues? Would this solve some of the hurt issues both for the minister and for the members? The world needs the church to be the manifold wisdom of God in this day and age. She must stop shrinking back and instead take back the ground she has given up both in the spiritual and in the natural. No longer can she play nurse maid, but she must equip and prepare and send out the leaders this nation so desperately needs and she must do it with love and integrity and righteousness. We need the righteous voice of the church to burn with fire in this nation again so that America will once again be that shining example. Join me as Jennifer and I discuss these critical issues.
I want to thank you for your prayers and support. As I wrote yesterday I would also like to ask you to stay tuned on Monday as I will make an exciting announcement regarding the radio shows ability to expand. If every person on this list were to begin giving just $50 a month, $1.64 a day, to the ministry we would be able to take advantage of these great opportunities. KSLR 630 AM is still holding a spot for us and there is more I will be free to share come Monday. You can be a part of this by paying (pun intended) a visit to the web site and by clicking on the donate button. There are simple instructions you can use to set up a monthly contribution and it is safe and secure through the Paypal system. Thank you for partnering with me as together we are making a difference and we can turn this thing around.
